PLA Poly Lactic Acid Mesh 4135 is a food-grade, compostable woven single-silk corn-fibre mesh for pyramid / triangle tea bags in 41 mesh/cm, 26 gsm, 53-micron filament and 185-micron pore width with about 57% open ratio. Certified biodegradable to EN 13432, it supports plastic-free and sustainability claims while giving the same high transparency as nylon for showcasing leaf and granular tea. Sealed by ultrasonic or heat (130–160 degC) so it runs on either machine. Suitable for granule, loose-leaf and flower tea. Sold by the metre in rolls of 800–1,200 m; MOQ 1,000 m.
